Home · Our Story

Born of mist,
made by hand.

It started with one shot,
on an ordinary morning.

2015 — in a small home kitchen in Chiang Rai, CiNO's founder roasted a first batch on a one-kilo roaster to answer a single question: how do you make a morning coffee good enough to start the day smiling?

Ten years on, that kitchen roaster has become a roastery in Chiang Rai shipping across the country — with the same core: 100% arabica from Doi Chang, roasted in small batches, no added flavour, no added colour.

Good coffee isn't only a drink — it's a small ritual that ties the grower, the roaster and the drinker together.

“Every cup should be able to tell you where it came from — and who made it.”

Nº 03 — Origin

Doi Chang, 1,200 m up.

Doi Chang, Chiang Rai, sits between 1,000 and 1,800 metres above sea level: cool year round, thick morning fog, hard afternoon sun — conditions that ripen the cherry slowly and concentrate its aroma and flavour.

We work with 12 farmers in the area. Every lot is wet processed for a clean, bright cup that keeps the bean's true character.

Nº 04 — Principles

Four non-negotiables.

01QUALITY

Small batch always.

Roasted 5–8 kilos at a time — never rushed, never cut, never a lot we wouldn't drink ourselves.

02HONESTY

Nothing added.

No colouring, no flavouring, no preservatives. What's in the bag is what grew on the mountain.

03FAIRNESS

Direct trade.

Bought direct from farmers at a fair price, traceable lot by lot.

04FRESHNESS

Roasted to order.

Shipped within 7 days of roasting — it still tastes like the day it left the drum.

05CRAFT

By hand.

Every lot is roasted by hand by roasters who have been with CiNO since year one.

06SUSTAINABILITY

Less, better.

Fully recyclable packaging · working with shade-grown farms.

Coffee should taste like somewhere.
